Training for the ministry God is calling you to.."

Since 2001

Where is Rock River Christian College?
Rock River Christian College is located at 1146
Grant Street in Beloit, Wisconsin. We are just a
few minutes north of the Illinois/Wisconsin state
    line.

What about housing?
Because we are a small college, we are unable to
offer housing for our students. However, there are
several apartments in the area. We will be happy
to assist students in finding housing if needed.

Is there financial aid?
Although we are unable to accept traditional
financial aid, we DO offer aid in the form of select
tuition-free classes to undergraduate students and
    full time pastors.
(Please see the Class Schedule for details)

What is the payment policy at RRCC?
Full payment of tuition is due at the beginning of
each semester. Cash and check payments are
accepted as well as Visa and MasterCard credit
    and debit cards

There may be discounts for paying in full by
    date of first class.

Under special circumstances and approval, an
    installment plan may be available.

Where do I get my textbooks?
Students order their own text books from the internet
or through other independent resources.  If that
cannot be done, we can order textbooks for our
students on an exception basis, with prepayment.

Most required reading may be on the "reserve"
shelf for the class, or may found in library stacks
    and checked out.

What kind of degree may I receive?
Once you have completed our program and have
earned credits for general education courses from
another educational system meeting all RRCC
criteria, you will receive a Bachelor of Arts in
Biblical Studies with a minor in Christian
    Ministry.

Or, with appropriate approval, you may enter our
graduate program and earn a Master of Arts in
    Biblical Studies or Christian Ministry.

Why do I have to take general education
courses at another college?
RRCC's focus is to provide the best Biblical and
Christian education for our students.  We have
concentrated our resources to that goal.

We do accept credits for transfer from other
colleges and universities based on our
requirements. There are several colleges within a
    reasonable commuting distance.

What other student resources are
available?
  • Individual academic goal planning
recommendations with one of our Professors

  • WIFI & Computer with High Speed Internet

Statement of Faith

Rock River Christian College believes in the inspiration and
authority of the Bible, both Old and New Testaments.
Any question of doctrine or interpretation is done after extensive
study of the Scripture.  We point to the historic Apostle’s Creed as a
good summary statement of what the Bible teaches and what we
hold to as a college.

We believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended into hell*.

On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
He is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church**,
the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

Amen.

*          Or "to the dead", or the "grave".
**        "The holy catholic church" is not a reference to the Roman
Catholic Church, but to God's universal church in the world.
